Clue Stack is where escape room operators map puzzle flow, prove the logic holds up, and run game night from one workspace instead of six spreadsheets and a group chat.
Every operator we talk to keeps the same three files. A puzzle list, a folder of wiring photos, and a hint doc that is two versions behind. Clue Stack replaces the guesswork between them.
One broken dependency makes a whole branch unreachable, and a paying team usually finds it at minute 38. Clue Stack traces every path and blocks you from publishing an orphaned puzzle.
Most rooms get laser cut before anyone knows the middle act drags. Simulate playthroughs and find the flat twenty minutes while it is still a diagram.
Your best game master knows exactly what to say. Everyone else improvises. Write tiered hints once and serve them to every shift from the same console.
Room three repeats room one's mistakes because nothing got written down. Playtest notes pin to the exact puzzle that caused them, so your next build starts smarter.
Everything reads from the same room graph, so a change on the canvas reaches your game masters and your reset checklist in the same second.
Drag puzzles, props and gates onto an infinite board and draw the dependencies as real links instead of arrows on a photo.
Live validation flags unreachable puzzles, circular locks and orphaned props the moment you create them.
Run a thousand virtual teams against your logic and get a solve time spread before you buy a single maglock.
Timer, live puzzle states, one tap hints and an incident log your ops manager will actually read.
Every lock, reader and relay with wiring notes, spares count and the puzzle it belongs to. Reset checklists print straight from it.
Solve rate, hint load per puzzle and the exact point where teams stall. Tune difficulty with numbers instead of hunches.
I am Ishan Mera and I started Clue Stack in 2025. I kept watching talented people design brilliant rooms with tools that were never meant for the job. Sticky notes for logic, group chats for playtest feedback, a laminated card for hints. The creative part was never the problem. The bookkeeping around it was.
So Clue Stack is deliberately unglamorous software. It holds the sequence, checks your work, and stays out of the way so you can go back to designing the thing people actually came for.
We onboard a small number of operators at a time so every workspace gets set up properly. Tell us about your rooms and we will send access.
